He was predeceased by: his parents, Alva Curtis and Chloral Elizabeth Hanley (Johns); his siblings, Kenneth Hanley, Wilma Cutright and Sharon Juriga; and his son Paul "Doug" Hanley.
He is survived by: his wife Kay Hurst; his daughters, Yvonne Stoner, Janice LeBourgeois (Henry), Elizabeth Lampley (Deverick) and Emily Hudson (Darryl); and his grandchildren, Michael Rogers (Theresa), Kelly Stalnaker (Trevor), Amy Morgan (Don), Ashley Cooper (Levi), Andre Lampley, Jerrod Fritchtnitch, Rachael Arnholt (Tyler), Caleb Fritchtnitch (McCahl Sanders), Kelsey Hudson and Kyle Hudson (Shaela). He is also survived by eleven great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
