She was predeceased by: her parents, Reginald Hetzel and Stella Hetzel (Byrum); her sisters, Martha Ellen Hetzel and June Ashley; her sister-in-law Ann Hetzel (Glen); her niece Jody Hetzel; and her nephews, Keith, Don Hetzel and Roger Ashley.
She is survived by: her children, Cheryl Crowdson (Greg) of Sullivan, Doug Hackman of Mattoon and Brad Hackman (Susan) of Raleigh, NC; her grandchildren, Gwen Janes (Andy), Ben Hackman, Megan Hackman, Jessica Hackman and Devin Hackman; her great grandchild Theodore Janes; and her siblings, Janet Hart (Ron), Ronald Hetzel (Linda), Gail Hetzel (Terry), Glen Hetzel and Dean Hetzel (Betty). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers and gifts, memorials may be made to Alzheimer's Association.
