He was predeceased by: his parents, Otis Glenn and Bernadine Brunson (Zike); his brother Ken McLain; and his daughter-in-law Kristen Lane-Brunson. He is survived by: his wife Patricia Douglas; his sons, Cole Brunson and Christopher Brunson; his grandson Max; his brother Glenn Brunson (Bonnie); his stepsiblings, David McLain, Sharyl King and Pat O'Day; and his stepfather Gene McLain (Ruth).
