It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Maurine Hazel Kull (Mattoon, Illinois), born in Strasburg, Illinois, who passed away on June 16, 2023, at the age of 101, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ed Reel and Edith Reel; her husband Floyd "Dutch" Edward Kull; her son Dennis; her sister Eva; and her siblings-in-law, Arthur Braden and Laveta Reel.
She is survived by: her daughter-in-law Ailsa Kull; her grandchildren, Virginia Compton (Lane) and James Kull (Lisa Medwedeff); her great grandchild Alisa Compton; and her brother Wayne Reel. She is also survived by nephews, nieces, cousins, extended family, and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in her honor may be sent to St. John's Lutheran Church, 200 Charleston Avenue, Mattoon, IL 61938, benefitting the Ladies Aid.
