In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact Mary had on those she encountered along her journey. She was predeceased by: her parents, Aramis Dryden and Jesse Dryden (Toops); her daughter Dawn Giroux; and her brothers, David and Jim Dryden.
She is survived by: her husband Ralph Shields; her children, Richard "Rick" King (Dona), Judy Ellis (Bert) and John King (Baby); her son-in-law Robert Giroux; and her brother John Dryden. She is also survived by 37 grandchildren, 12 step grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren, 14 step great grandchildren, 4 great-great step grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Monday, December 9th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Apostolic Center Church (205 Country Club Rd, Mattoon, IL 61938). A funeral service was held on Monday, December 9th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
