He was predeceased by: his parents, Obed Henderson and JoAnn Henderson (Lemmons). He is survived by: his wife Merrie Henderson of Mattoon, IL; his son Kyle Henderson (Christina); his grandchildren, Chloe and Lucy of Kingwood, TX; his daughter Kathryn Shilling (Ryan) of New York; and his siblings, Hugh Henderson (Jane) of Jacksonville, IL, Craig Henderson (Mary) of Indianapolis, IN, JoEllen Henderson (Bill Buffie) of Indianapolis, IN and Jon Henderson (Julie) of Wexford, PA. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in his honor are suggested to the Mattoon High School Tennis Activity Fund, 2521 Walnut Avenue, Mattoon, IL 61938.
