With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Lorene Mohlenhoff of Mattoon, Illinois, who passed away on September 20, 2023 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Christian Wetzel and Emily Wetzel (Wilhelm); her husband George Mohlenhoff; and her siblings, Donald Wetzel, Leroy Wetzel, Merlin Wetzel, Velma Hutchings and Lilian Weber.

She is survived by: her children, Dale Mohlenhoff (Linda) and Diana Dell (Steve); her grandchildren, Laura Sniadecki (Mike), John Mohlenhoff (Stephanie), Christian Mohlenhoff (Lucy), Justin Dell (Dana) and Nathan Dell (Elyse); and her siblings, Edwin Wetzel and Irma Jean Kidwell. She is also survived by 10 great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.

Memorial donations in her honor may be given to St. Paul's Lutheran Church.
