She was predeceased by: her parents, Alfred James and Sylvia Blanche Whitley (Perkins); her husband Henry Clark Schwerdt; her siblings, Forest Swisher, Chester Swisher (Floyd Swisher), Juanita Binnion and Bernadine Taylor (Rosemary Schwerdt); her sons, Jimmy McBride and Lester Leo McBride Jr.; the father of her children Lester Leo McBride; and her grandson Danny Lee McBride Jr..
She is survived by: her children, Danny McBride, Mary Elliott and Jesse Schwerdt. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
