She was predeceased by: her birth father Fernand Rioux; her adoptive parents, Philip Ferranti and Alyce Ferranti (Bubnes); her siblings, James Ferranti and Cynthia Morris; and her in-laws, Gene and Dorothy Rodgers.
She is survived by: her husband Charles "Chuck" Smith; her birth mother Therese Morin; her children, Edward Ferranti (Michelle), Holly Wiltermood (Joe) and Melissa Gordon (Jamie); her stepchildren, Todd Smith, Cory Smith, Lisa Smith and Niki Smith; her siblings, Phillip Ferranti, Dr. SherylAnne Ferranti-Hamza (Magid), Felice Ferranti, Michelle Alfano, Carole Lapointe and Lisa Dube; her grandchildren, Haley Chambers (Jayrd), Josh Wiltermood, Allen Gordon, Christopher Ferranti (Taylor), Rachel Ferranti, Brandon and Nathan (Kassandra); her great grandchildren, Keityn Chambers, Charlie, Tripp, Azalea, McKenna, Wylder, Ryder, Analise, Isaiah, Sophia, Blake and Jaxton; and her stepgrandchildren, Lexia Masulis, Blaise Masulis, Xandria Smith, Blair Clough, Bryson Clough, Brooklyn Mazur and Braedon Mazur.
Visitation will be held on Friday, January 24th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Schilling Funeral Home (1301 Charleston Ave, Mattoon, IL 61938).
Memorial donations in her honor may be given to the American Heart and Lung Association.
