He was predeceased by: his parents, Wyeth Baker and Faye Baker (Robinson); his children, Larry Baker Jr. and Janice Garcia; his granddaughter Tammy Holtzman; and his siblings, Wayne Hurtie, Terry Baker and Shirley Maahs (Vivian Jarva).
He is survived by: his wife Lulabelle Baker of Rockford, IL; his children, Karen Albert (Terry) of Prague, OK, Richard Baker (Patty) of Rockford, IL, Robert Baker (Theresa) and Theresa Logan (Charles); his brother Gail Baker (Vivian); his grandchildren, Melissa, Christina, Randall, Jonathan, Thomas, Jenna, Elizabeth, Leha, Sarah, Joshua, Dakota, Joseph, Mason and Amber; and his goddaughter Michelle Shaffer (Adam). He is also survived by 36 great-grandchildren.
Memorial donations in his honor may be given to Free Methodist in Arcola, IL.
