He was predeceased by: his parents, Denzil Cripe and Dorothy Cripe; his son Cameron Cripe; and his siblings, Darrel Cripe, Terry Cripe and Wanna Spounias.
He is survived by: his daughter Shelly Cripe of Mattoon, Illinois; his grandchildren, Quin of Mattoon, IL., Ryan Hastings, Myles Hastings (Molly), Blake Hastings, Gillian Card, Rachel Kaiser and Matthew Kaiser; and also, Wendy Hastings (Brian) of Mattoon, IL and Chuck Card (Amy) of Mattoon, IL.
Memorial donations in his honor may be given to Broadway Christian Church or the Sarah Bush Lincoln Regional Cancer Center.
