She was predeceased by: her parents, Joe Ferguson and Alma Ferguson (Phelps); and her son Mark. She is survived by: her niece Bonnie Lane (Bill); her friends, Ann Russell, Earl and Joey; and also Sheila Freshwater.

Memorial donations in her honor may be given to the Coles County Animal Shelter.
