We are sad to announce that on April 4, 2023 we had to say goodbye to Joyce M. Cisna of Mattoon, Illinois, born in Monroe, Wisconsin. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Gilbert Albright and Grace Albright (Durst); her husband Howard Cisna; her sons, Lester Smith and David Smith; and her stepsons, Randy and Terrance Cisna.

She is survived by: her former husband Chester Smith; her sons, Terry Smith of Charleston, IL and Kenneth Smith (Kathleen) of Franklin, TN.; her grandchildren, Kristina Rust of Brentwood, TN, Kelli Cole of Thompson's Station, TN, Amy Turner of Toney, AL, Cassie Newsom of Hazel Green, AL and Todd Smith of Guangzhou, China; and her brothers, Ronald "George" Albright and Donald "Doc" Albright.

Memorial donations in her honor may be given to Fit-2-Serve or Sarah Bush Lincoln Hospice House.

“We never met Joyce, but have volunteered and laughed with Terry, her son, for several years. Through that time, we have learned about Joyce and her relationship with Terry. It was a loving and supporting one, he was a very good son to her. If Terry is any example of who she was as a person and mother, she was one of the best there is. We are sorry to not have met her, because we know we would have liked her very much. We know she is at peace in a wonderful place. From the Wilhites.”
