He was predeceased by: his parents, John "Jack" Eugene and Helen Pruitt (Jordan). He is survived by: his close friend Vickie Trueblood; his children, Christine Tyler (John), John Pruitt (Sara) and Jessie Duff (Mason); his grandchildren, Layne Joslin, Carter Pruitt, Chloe Pruitt, Charlie Pruitt and Georgia Duff; and his siblings, Richard Pruitt (Mila), David Pruitt (Cindy), Susan Widman (Tom), Jen Sears (Mike) and Libby Pulliam (Duane "Buff"). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
