The memory of Janice Lynn Reed of Mattoon, Illinois, who passed away on February 24, 2025 at the age of 75, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. She was predeceased by: her parents, Marjorie Louise Von Behrens (Shadwick) and Harold Behrens. She is survived by: her boyfriend Tom Jones; her children, Kris Bott (Sean) of Arcola, IL and Matt Reed (Lori) of Tuscola, IL; her grandchildren, Tyler Bugos (Caitlin) of Mattoon, IL, Dylan Bugos (Andersen Patty-G'Sell) of St. Louis, MO, Jeffrey Reed of Kokomo, IN, Myles Bott of Arcola, IL and Amelia Reed of Tuscola, IL; her great grandchild Oakley Lennon Bott of Arcola, IL.; her brother Terry Von Behrens of Humboldt, IL; her boyfriend's children, Andrew Jones (Nata) of Atlanta, GA, Ingrid Jones-Hessey (Richard) of High Springs, FL and Alex Jones of Atlanta, GA.; and also, Abbey and Zoey Hessey of High Springs, FL. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Friday, March 7th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Warren James Winery (5600 Lerna Rd, Mattoon, IL 61938).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the library fund at Arland D. Williams Elementary.
