He was predeceased by: his parents, Vernon Uphoff and Marietta Uphoff (Kindel); his wife Sue Anne Van Etten; his brother Ronald V. Uphoff; and his parents-in-law, Doug and Alice Van Etten.
He is survived by: his daughters, Christina Uphoff Nees (Allan) of Ashmore, IL and Lisa Patterson (Greg) of Mattoon, IL; his brother David Uphoff (Carole) of Chandler, AZ; and his siblings-in-law, Darlene Uphoff of Charleston, IL, Sara Drew (Mike) of Morton, IL and Douglas Van Etten (Deana) of New Port Richey, FL.. He is also survived by four great-granddaughters, one great grandson, and one eagerly awaited great grandson as well as several nieces and nephews.
