She was predeceased by: her parents, Clifton Cavanaugh and Nellie Cavanaugh-Ashbacker (Relf). She is survived by: her husband Earl M. Volkman of Mattoon, IL; her children, Vicki Treptow Finfrock (Bruce) of Shiloh, IL, Debra Treptow Sanders (Jack) of Springfield, IL, Kathy Treptow Burrell (Pat) of Beecher City, IL, James Volkman of Mattoon, IL, Joseph Volkman (Patty) of Palm Bay, FL, Jeffrey Volkman (Wendy) of Fowler, IN and Jerry Volkman of Mattoon, IL; and her siblings, James Cavanaugh (Angela) of Henderson, NV and Yvonne Janishuck of Berwyn, IL.. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren and 14 great-great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in her honor may be given to Earl Volkman to assist with funeral expenses.
