He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Diepholz and Drucilla Diepholz (Kull); his daughter Cathy Diepholz; and his son-in-law Richard Vaughan. He is survived by: his former spouse Jean Hopper; his wife Brenda Diepholz; his daughter Sue Vaughan; his grandchildren, Jason Vaughan, Brea Colagross (John), Ella Colagross and Ethan Colagross; his stepson Kenneth Hedrick (Jodi); his stepgrandchildren, Kenney Hedrick, Morgan Hedrick and Trent Hedrick; and his brother Ken Diepholz (Ann).
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in his honor may be given to St. John's Lutheran Choir.
