He is survived by: his wife Mary Alice Maxedon of Mattoon, IL; his stepson Charles Logsdon; his grandchildren, Nathan Logsdon of Mattoon, IL, Amber Logsdon of Kansas City, MO, Brook Logsdon, Katie Taylor, Kaige, Tiffiani Logsdon, Karry Gymmen, Sierra Cox and Dylan Cox; his great grandchildren, Hunter and Taylor Logsdon of Neoga, IL; his sisters, Carol Lawson of Windsor, IL and Cecelia Janes of Mattoon, IL; and his pet Olive.
Memorial donations in his honor may be given to the V.F.W. Post 4325 or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
