He was predeceased by: his parents, Odas O'Dell and Opal Mae Adams (Stull); and his sisters, Loretta Wilson and Nancy Tate. He is survived by: his wife Mary Adams of Mattoon, IL; his sons, Steven E. Adams (Chere) of Mattoon, IL and Timothy "Roley" Adams (Cheryl) of Mattoon, IL; his grandchildren, Jacob E. Adams (Kate) of Carterville, IL, Jared C. Adams (Kelby) of Mattoon, IL, Jessica A. McBride (Tim) of Effingham, IL and Emily M. Brundridge (Tyler) of Mattoon, IL; his great grandchildren, Sophia, Olivia, Audree, Liam, Eva, Evan, Brexly, Emma and Kashton; and his sister Virginia Brister (Roscoe). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Memorial donations in his honor may be given to the Shriners Hospitals for Children.
