With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Eugene Peterson (Mattoon, Illinois), who passed away on March 20, 2019 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Otis Peterson and Loree Tanner Peterson; and his wife Mary. He is survived by: his children, Cheryl Ferguson of Las Vegas, NV, Roger Peterson (Marsha Hudson) of Mattoon and Randy Peterson (Patty) of Mattoon. He is also survived by nine grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, three great-great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in his honor may be made to Peace Meal, 694 Castle Drive, Charleston, IL 61920.
