He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence Allen and Flossie Mabel McLain (Stewart); his son Kenny McLain; and his stepsons, Larry Fox and Michael Brunson.
He is survived by: his wife Ruth McLain of Mattoon, IL; his son David McLain of Neoga, IL; and his stepchildren, Margaret Waggoner of Mattoon, IL and Glen Brunson (Bonnie) of Allenville, IL. He is also survived by thirteen grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.
Memorial donations in his honor may be given to Odd Fellow Rebekah Home.
