It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Erica Lynn Peters of Mattoon, Illinois, born in Dale City, Virginia, who passed away on January 21, 2023, at the age of 35, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her father Donald Eugene Peters; and her grandparents, Richard and Sandra Malone. She is survived by: her mother Debra Ann Hobson (Scheufler) of Boerne, TX; her fiancé Tyler Nadolny of Mattoon; her daughters, Anastasia Miller and Rayna Lawson of Mattoon; her siblings, Kumi Blackwell (Patrick) of Virginia Beach, VA, Heather Peters of Tallahassee, FL, Stephanie Helmuth (Tony) of Sullivan and Terry Peters (Allie) of Bethany; and her friends, Greg, Danielle Owens and Erin Schelato. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be made in care of the family, for adoption of Erica's daughters.
