It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Eleanor Lee Bonnell of Mattoon, Illinois, who passed away on November 26, 2023, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Paul Mason and Virginia Mason Bernard (Givens); her husband Rev. Gary W. Bonnell; her son-in-law Michael Roberts; her brother Robert Paul Mason; and her half-sisters, Patty Yankey and Judi Huffman.
She is survived by: her daughters, Marlene Malone (Steven Malone) of Portland, Oregon, Michele Ryan of St. Louis, Missouri and Melanie Roberts; her grandchildren, Rebecca Roberts and Zeke Roberts of Mattoon, Illinois; her aunt Mary Alice Cox of Salem, WV.; and her siblings-in-law, Mary Ann Mason, Danny Yankey and Jimmy Huffman. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
