It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dorothy M. Alexander of Mattoon, Illinois, born in Newton, Kansas, who passed away on November 1, 2021, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Raymond Bush and Lela Bush (Buckles); her husband Robert Duane Alexander; her sister Naida High (Don); and her niece Pam McIntyre (Stuart).
She is survived by: her children, Annette Bortoletto (Joe) of Manteno, IL, Cathleen "Cathy" Alexander of Mattoon, IL, Robert Alexander (Tylene) of Mattoon, IL and Renee Alexander Comstock of Mattoon, IL; her grandchildren, Adam Bortoletto, John Bortoletto, Robert Bortoletto, Marissa Borntreger (Kevin), Sirena Alexander, Coby Comstock and Colton Comstock; her great grandchildren, Jase, Eli, Conor and Levi Borntreger; and her niece Nadonna High Fulkerson.
Memorial donations in her honor may be given to the First Baptist Church, 1804 South 9th Street, Mattoon, Illinois 61938.
