It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dorothy Harvey (Mattoon, Illinois), born in Mexico, Missouri, who passed away on November 6, 2023, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, James Travis and Lorena Gross (Littrell); and her brothers, James "Sonny" Travis, Sam Owens and Albert Travis.
She is survived by: her children, Brenda Lay (Scott) of Bonita Springs, FL, Jim Flick of Mattoon, IL and Jeannie Adams of Sullivan, IL; the father of her children John Flick of Sullivan, IL; her siblings, Judy Dobbs of Arcola, IL, George Gross of Gays, IL and Bill Gross of Macomb, IL; and her close friend Roger Welch of Mattoon, IL.. She is also survived by 6 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
