She was predeceased by: her parents, Valentine Allen and Freida Allen (Marlow); her brother Charles "Sonny" Allen; and her former husband William E. Alvis. She is survived by: her children, Roscoe "Rocky" Coffey (Carla Jane) of Lewisville, TX and Theresa Swango (Max) of Charleston, IL; her grandchildren, Rocky Nelson Coffey (Kate) and Brandy Hunt (Chris) of Lantana, TX; her great grandchildren, Hailey and Gavin; her stepgranddaughter Dana Benge (Scott); her sister Wanda Williamson of Mount Vernon; and her niece Vicky Burrell. She is also survived by several nephews and nieces.
Memorial donations in her honor may be given to the St. Jude's Children's Hospital or donors choice.
