He was predeceased by: his son John Max Vaultonburg. He is survived by: his parents, Fred Gammill and Gertrude Gammill (White); his wife Wilma Gammill of Mattoon, IL; and his grandchildren, John Vaultonburg (Teri), Erica Price (Brian Butler), Kara Richards, Josh Vaultonburg (Katie), Lanette Pierce (Josh) and Cherise Vaultonburg. He is also survived by 17 great grandchildren; five great great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in his honor are suggested to Truth and Grace Fellowship or Lincolnland Hospice.
