He is survived by: his wife Catherine Turner of Mattoon, IL; his son Daniel R. Jr. Turner (Nature); his stepchildren, James E. Hall, Michael B. Hall, Theresa L. Carter and Delores A. Hall; and his siblings, Norma Carver of Janesville, IL, Patricia Campbell of Toledo, IL and Jerry Cooley. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
