He is survived by: his wife Anita Matteson; his sons, Lloyd Alderton (Sang Hui) of Las Vegas and Michael Alderton of Mattoon; his grandchildren, Kyle, Alisha and Corey Alderton; his brother Verlin Alderton (Sylvia) of Buena Vista, Arkansas; and his stepdaughter Jamie Arthur of Tennessee. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
