He was predeceased by: his parents, Emil Behrens and Molly Von Behrens (Gwinn); his wife Janet Rebbe; and his son Brent Rebbe. He is survived by: his daughter-in-law Ann; and his grandchildren, Eric Dale, William Christian Warren, Jennifer Ann Warren, Michael Stephen Warren, Brent Rebbe and Austin Taylor. He is also survived by 9 great-grandchildren.

Memorial donations in his honor are suggested to St. John's Lutheran Church and School.
