She was predeceased by: her parents, Floyd Collier and Roberta'Bobby'Jones Collier; and her brother Jim Collier. She is survived by: her daughters, Lynn Griesemer of Mattoon and Carla Dufford (Dave) of Mattoon; her grandchildren, Lauren Bracamontes (Josh) of Spring Hill and Robert Dufford of New London, Connecticut; her great grandchildren, Gordon Bracamontes and Caroline Bracamontes; and her siblings, John Collier (Wheat) of Salem, Don Collier (Anne) of Mt. Vernon, Illinois, Marilyn Matheny (Jim) of Springfield and Connie Easley (Harry) of Nashville, Illinois. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews and many great-nieces and great-nephews.

Visitation will be held on Monday, February 3rd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Reed Funeral Home (1112 S Hamilton St, Sullivan, IL 61951). A memorial service will be held on Monday, February 3rd 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.

Memorials are suggested to the American Cancer Society or the Little Theatre on The Square.

“Carolyn was a friend of both of us as a playmate on East Boone Street in Salem. Ted was next door and when I moved in across the street, we became best buddies playing croquet, sewing doll clothes and drawing paper doll clothes. I always envied her baton twirling talents in those days! We've kept in touch for all these years, and we do appreciate Marilyn letting us know of her death.
