She was predeceased by: her parents, Orville Lane and Lillie Lane (Thompson); her husband Robert R. Rice Jr.; and her brother Jerry Lane. She is survived by: her daughter Sheryl Baugher (Jason) of Toledo, IL; her grandchildren, A. J. Baugher (Brooklyn) and Hannah Baugher of Toledo, IL; her great grandchild April; her sister Patricia Griffin of Mattoon, IL; her sister-in-law Ellen Lane of Mattoon, IL; her pet Sophia; and her close friend Shirley Wilkey of Mattoon, IL. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Memorial donations in her honor may be given to the St. John's Lutheran Church at 200 Charleston Ave., Mattoon, IL 61938.
