She was predeceased by: her parents, Lucille Ferris (Prahl) and Lester Roscoe Prahl; her stepfather Frank Ferris; her close friend Steve Dole; and her siblings, Lester E. Prahl, Patricia "Patty" Prahl and Donna Cole.
She is survived by: her stepmothers, Mellie and Liz Prahl; her husband James Pendergast Sr.; her son James Pendergast Jr. of Mattoon, Illinois; her granddaughters, Jaimee Pendergast of Mattoon and Payton Pendergast (Ian Ebie) of Mattoon, Illinois; her great grandchildren, Rayshawn Glen, Kellen Foltz, Kynlie Foltz, Rori Ebie and Rowan Ebie; her siblings, Frank Ferris Jr. (Debbie) of Lerna, Illinois and Peggy Scott (Steve) of Wake Forrest; and her sister-in-law Barbie Prahl of Mattoon, Illinois. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Memorials are suggested to the Immaculate Conception Church in Mattoon, Illinois.
