She was predeceased by: her parents, Bryce King and Cecilia King (Ballinger); and her sister Virginia Eubank. She is survived by: her husband Peter P. Clarkson; her children, Jonathan Clarkson (Natasha) of Mattoon, IL, Geoffrey Clarkson of Mattoon, IL, Matthew Clarkson of Mattoon, IL and Darcy Leslie (Robert) of Coal City, IN; and her grandchildren, Tyler Lang of Terre Haute, IN, Peter Ruef of Mattoon, IL, Ashlynn Black of Greenup, IL and Monte Clarkson of Mattoon, IL..
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in her honor may be given to the Mattoon Public Library.
