With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Albert Dean Hughes of Mattoon, Illinois, who passed away on October 22, 2021 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his siblings, Francis Catherine Risting (Johnny), Earl Eugene Hughes (Alice), Bessie Bernice Rule (Paul) and James Robert Hughes (Shirley); and his brothers-in-law, Mike Miller and Bob Tucker.
He is survived by: his wife Betty June Tucker; his son Dan Hughes (Cindi); his grandchildren, Rachel Hutchings (Toby) and Casey Hughes; his great grandchildren, Adam and Mollie Hutchings; his siblings, Steve Hughes (Nellie), Ralph Hughes (Ruth Ann) and Virginia Miller; and his sister-in-law Shirley Tucker.
Memorial donations in his honor may be given to South Side Church of Christ, 1100 S 17th St., Mattoon, IL 61938.
