She was predeceased by: her parents, Cornelius Vernooy and Grace Vernooy. She is survived by: her spouse Arlan D. Menninga; her children, Laura Van Proyen (Arie), Mark Menninga (Nadine), Judy Santana and Alisa Bonnema (Mark); her grandchildren, Marie Menninga, Elizabeth Menninga (Devon Inman), Sarah Peterman (Brian), Olivia Reynhout (Kyle), Alexis Bonnema (Rick Bushey) and Cole Bonnema; her great grandchildren, Bennett and Delaney; and her sister Wilma Veenstra (Dewey).

Memorial contributions may be given to World Renew (1700 28th St. SE Grand Rapids, MI 49508).
