Gene Umland Obituary
We are sad to announce that on December 11, 2021, at the age of 86, Gene Umland of Matteson, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Umland and Clara Umland; and his brother Gerald Umland (late Edith). He is survived by: his wife Elaine; his daughters, Julie McSwain (John), Kathie Francesconi (James) and Margie D'Apice (Brian); his grandchildren, Nicole Galyon (Justin), Joshua McSwain (Kate), Staci Hill, Daniel Francesconi (Cheyenne), Ryanne Martin (Hayden), Gina Ruiz (Robert) and Joseph Francesconi; his great grandchildren, Luke, Logan Galyon, Andrew Hill, Rory, Hayes Martin and Willow Francesconi; and his nieces, Denise Manson (C. J.), Laura Guy and Kimberly Scherer.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Immanuel Lutheran Church parking lot fund.
