She was predeceased by: her husband Irving G. Martino; her son James Posthumus (Kathy); her grandson Joshua Posthumus (Ashley); her parents, John Triemstra and Susan Triemstra; and her sister Mary Ann Tamminga (George).
She is survived by: her children, John Posthumus (Susan) and Kathy Laphen (Nick); her grandchildren, Nicole Hoover (Dustin), Jacob Posthumus (Brittany), Stephen Laphen (Brittni), Matthew Laphen and Anthony Posthumus; her great grandchildren, Riley, Lucas, Jackson, Aryssa, Jude and Henry; and her siblings, Jean Carr (Jim), Robert Triemstra (Sharon) and Patricia Triemstra.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 from 12:30 PM to 1:00 PM at the St. Paul Lutheran Church (6201 Vollmer Rd, Matteson, IL 60443). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
