He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Hays and Jeanette Johnson Hays; and his son-in-law Joseph Barnes. He is survived by: his wife Sheila Hays; and his children, Christine Breshears (Bob Jr.), Deborah Barnes (Jeff Ziemer) and Andi Schnowske (Lyle). He is also survived by 5 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.
