He is survived by: his daughters, Jennifer Daine (Daniel) of Bunker Hill and Katie Lovejoy of Matherville, Illinois; his grandchildren, Everleigh, Saylor, Ophelia and Memphis; his siblings, Anita McLain, Richard, Robert and David C. McLain; and his close friends, Lyle and Dawn Pearson. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
