The memory of Ray Gene Bushue of Mason, Illinois, who passed away on February 8, 2025 at the age of 71, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. He was predeceased by: his parents, Virgil Bushue and Sarah Bushue (Leith); his wife Mary Bushue (White); his son Toby Bushue; and his brother-in-law Gary Varner.
He is survived by: his daughter Mindie Bushue of Iuka, Illinois; his stepchildren, Rowena Barber (Carl Yingst) of Evansville, Michelle Logsdon, Emily Belleville (William) of Mason, Nicole Crubaugh (Tommy Stockton) of Mason and Shane Eskew (Becky) of Mason, Illinois; his grandchildren, Gunner Huddleston, Brodie Huddleston, Axel Bushue and Mattie Branson; his sister Sherry Goeckner (Bill); his in-laws, Steve and Kathy White of Tennessee; and his siblings-in-law, Judy Varner, Denise Croft (Loren) of Greenup, Illinois. and Steve White (Cathy) of Johnson City, Tennessee.. He is also survived by 15 step-grandchildren; 13 step-great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the Mason Christian Church (624 IL-37, Mason, IL 62443). A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital, Leith Cemetery, or the donor's choice.
