He is survived by: his father Gene Wharton of Altamont; his wife Julie Wharton of Mason; his children, Andy Wharton (Madi Cook) of Altamont and Maggie Baker (Collin) of Effingham; his siblings, Scott Wharton (Jo Ellen) of Greenville, Tater Wharton (Stacy) of Mason, Marsha Nolan (Bob) of Farina, Carol Ruffner (Jerry) of Mason and Darcy Rhoades (Corey) of Littleton, Colorado; and his grandchildren, Trace Wharton, Briar Wharton, Charlie Baker, Kierstin Rosine, Ashlie Rosine, Adra Baker and Ethan Baker.
