She was predeceased by: her parents, Herman Murphy and Effie Murphy (Basford); her husband Clarence Painter; and her daughter Carolyn Peterson. She is survived by: her son Gary Painter (Glenda) of Effingham, Illinois; her grandchildren, Ronnie Peterson of Champaign, Dawnette Rhodes of Effingham, Shelly McElroy (Bob), Dale Peterson (Susan) of Mansfield and Dary Painter of Altamont; and also Joyce Feldhake of Mason, Illinois.. She is also survived by several great-grandchildren; niece.
