It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joyce Cameron of Mason, Illinois, born in Effingham, Illinois, who passed away on April 22, 2022, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Lee and Irene McCallen (Melson); her husband Richard Cameron; her daughter-in-law Nancy Cameron (Stumborg); and her siblings, Avery McCallen, Virgil McCallen, Camilla Reed, Shirley Faircloth and Ila Dammerman.
She is survived by: her children, David Cameron (Louise) of Heyworth, Peggy Lister (Tony) of Salem, Dale Cameron (Pam) of Battle Lake, MN, Gary Cameron (late Nancy) of Effingham, Jerry Cameron of Effingham and Paul Cameron; her pet Zoe of Little Rock, AR; and her siblings, Jerry McCallen of Atlanta, GA, Marsha Jones (Jim) of Terre Haute, IN, Mary Williams of Terre Haute, IN and Cheryl Grunloh (Bruce) of Effingham. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; 4 great-great-grandchildren.
