It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joan Sowers of Mason, Illinois, who passed away on January 13, 2021, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Pearl "Curly" and Mattie Leasher (Wilmeth); her sister Judy Beatt; her sons, Rusty Sowers and William Sowers; her grandchildren, Levi Sowers and Shanda Eyman; her daughter-in-law Cheryl Sowers; and her great grandchildren, Serenity Dunn and Adams of Nevada.
She is survived by: her husband William "Bill" Sowers; her children, Bruce Sowers (Brenda) of Farina, Illinois, Terry Dunn of Stewardson and Candi Mintert (Tracy) of Effingham, Illinois; her son-in-law Dennis Dunn of Mason, Illinois; and her siblings, Carl Leasher (Francie) of Windsor, Donald Leasher (Carrie) of Mason, Illinois and Janie Bahrns (Rick) of Flora, Illinois. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren; 2 great great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
