He is survived by: his wife Christina Hackman (Dringenberg); his sons, Shane Hackman (Kelly) of Bloomington and Troy Hackman (Brooke) of Kilbourne; his stepchildren, Joe Connell (Emily) of Spring and Mandi Bailey (Dan) of Pekin; his grandchildren, Morghan, Kaileb, Lyndsey, Jace Hackman, Sable, Zoe, Skylar Cartwright and Katherine Connell; his stepgrandchildren, Kaleb, Karlie Flinn and Olivia Summers; and his siblings-in-law, Barb Kramer of Pekin, Deborah Cartwright (Gary) of Elizabeth City, Dave Dringenberg (Christy) of Delavan, Jerry Dringenberg (Lil) of Puyallup and Larry Dringenberg (Sunnie) of Newport News, Virginia..
