She was predeceased by: her parents, Dave Hites and Georgia L. Hites (Landreth); her son-in-law Robert Roedl; and her siblings, Russell Hites, Glen Hites, Kenneth Landreth, Larry Hites, Fern Hites, Ruby Higgenbotham and Joann Allen.
She is survived by: her husband Noel Simmons of Mason; her children, Noel Simmons (Ina) of Mason, Karen Roedl of Altamont and Mary Anne Slifer of Altamont; and her brother Sonny Hites of Altamont. She is also survived by eighteen grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild.
