He was predeceased by: his parents, Sidney Field and Irma Field (Goebel); his son Mark Daniel; and his brother Mike. He is survived by: his spouse Florann Evans of John's Lutheran Church; his daughters, Dana Marie Hakman (Chris) and Shari Rae LaWarre (Steve); his grandchildren, Evan Hakman (Lauryn), Benton Hakman (Madeline), Nathan LaWarre, Sydney LaWarre, Anna Hakman, Ella LaWarre, Grace Hakman, Isabelle Hakman and Corey Hakman; his great grandchildren, Clayton Hakman and Harper Hakman; and his brothers, Paul and Harold "Dink" Field (Jane). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers and gifts, the family requests memorials be made to Effingham High School or St. Anthony High School for the Trap and Skeet Teams.
