It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Shirley Behrens of Mason City, Illinois, who passed away on March 17, 2025, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Shirley Behrens to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Goben and Verancia Goben (Oller); her husband Frank Art Behrens; her stepfather Charles Denton; her son David Behrens; and her grandson Cody Fagan.
She is survived by: her children, Sheila, Susan and Drew Behrens (Shelly); her daughter-in-law Pam Behrens; her great grandchildren, Matthew, Daken, Xavier Davenport, Waylon and Denver Carls; and her sister Lavina DeMatties. She is also survived by 3 grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, March 22nd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Hurley Funeral Home - Mason City (603 E Chestnut St, Mason City, IL 62664). A memorial service was held on Saturday, March 22nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
Memorial contributions may be made to the 1st Baptist Church of Mason City.
